How To Check WITS Application Status And Prospectus

Today since the evolution of the internet, prospective students can now track their applications to schools they applied to and wish to pursue a course there, and yes University of Witwatersrand (Wits) is part of the schools that migrated to online application status check.

Normally it takes 3 days to receive an acknowledgment letter from your application. 

Guidelines To Check Wits Application Status

Wits application status check is in two options and that is via online or phone call. 

Online Status Check

After your application with the University of Witwatersrand WITS, a reference and a student number would be acknowledged to the applicant. The said student number and reference would be used while using the ‘Student Self Service’ page. 

1 Visit Wits application status portal via https://www.wits.ac.za/applications/

2. Enter your credentials (ID number/passport number)

3. Click login 

Phone Call

Students can place a call through the call center number 011 717 1888 and request to know their application status.

Application for Wits’ 2023/2024 Academic Year

Wits have announced the opening date for the 2022 academic year and it is slated for February through to September 2022. Late applications will not be accepted.
