2. Madina Nalwanga

Madina Nalwanga is known for her work on Queen of Katwe (2016) where she played Fiona, a prodigy Chess player from the suburbs of Kampala who rose from poverty to international fame through the game of Chess. Kenya’s Oscar winning actress Lupita Nyongo’o is also credited for her role in the film.

3. Daniel Kaluuya

Daniel Kaluuya is an actor and writer, known for Get Out (2017)Sicario (2015) and Johnny English Reborn (2011). He was born to Ugandan immigrant parents in London in 1989.

He played Posh Kenneth in the E4 teen-drama Skins, and Bing in the Black Mirror episode “Fifteen Million Merits”. He also appeared as Tealeaf in the BBC dark comedy series Psychovilleand Mac in the BBC Three horror drama The Fades. Kaluuya also appeared in the film Kick-Ass 2.

Florence Kasumba (born 26 October 1976) is a German actress of Ugandan origin. Other than acting in German and Dutch films, she is known for playing the part of Ayo in Captain America: Civil War, a role she will reprise in the upcoming Black Panther.

She also played Senator Acantha in Wonder Woman and the Wicked Witch of the East in the NBC television series Emerald City. She has been filming in English, German and Dutch since 2000.

Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine is a dual citizen of Uganda and America working in the mediums of photography, theatre, film and television. Feature film acting credits include Queen of Katwe and Boost from Oscar winning producers Kieran Crilly and Frederic Bohbot.

Previous feature films include “Blood Diamond” where he played opposite Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio and the indie feature “40,” which Ntare starred in and premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. Ntare’s film directing credits include “Kuhani,” which won the main prize for Best Achievement in Directing at the International Kurzfilmtage Winterthur, Switzerland and was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize for Best Short Film at Slamdance 2014.

“Kuhani” also premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam, Palm Springs International ShortFest, the Institute of Contemporary Art London and the Film Society at Lincoln Center to name a few.
