Every year, the University of Cape Town receives applications from prospective students who are willing to get an education from the facility. Once you are given admission, your name is included in the admission list, and if you are not admitted, you will not find your name on the list. Checking the status of your application can be done in simple steps. These steps are;
- Visit the University of Cape Town status checker portal via the URL http://www.students.uct.ac.za/students/applications/apply/undergraduates/check-status
- Proceed to select and enter your ID Number if you are a South African citizen or Passport number if you are not a South African citizen.
- After entering your details, click on the SUBMIT button and then click the Login tab to check your admission status.
- As mentioned earlier, when your application is successful, your name will be on the list.
NB: If you have lost your password, don’t panic since the system has a way by which you can retrieve it.
If you have lost your password, you can retrieve it by clicking on the ‘Forgot Password’ tab on the University of Cape Town status checker portal and follow the necessary steps.
